Mexico welcomes delegates from State Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol, observers, international officials, mass media representatives and from organized civil society.
As the host country to the COP, Mexico will promote the celebration of a plural and inclusive Conference and will not spare efforts in facilitating the building of understandings among State Parties, in such a way that the COP16 and the COP/MOP6 deliver concrete and effective results to tackle the global challenge of climate change. Mexico will encourage the most inclusive participation and dialogue among stakeholders, as well as in the quest of common solutions.
