Energy solutions for CO2 emission peak and subsequent decline
Risø International Conference takes place over three days every second year at Risø National Laboratory for Sustainable Energy. The conference series focus on actual global energy issues and challenges, as well as how the scientific development in all aspects of energy research can meet these global challenges.
A number of prominent speakers are invited to address the conferences in keynote presentations, and the programme usually contains around 50 presentations selected on the basis of a previous call for papers.
Recent conferences have focused on how the world can meet the CO2 reduction requirements on a global, regional and local scale in a balanced, equal and fair manner.
The target group for the conference series is researchers, industry, policy makers, energy sector decision makers, funding organizations, as well as international organizations, e.g. the EU, IEA and UN.
