Danish PM invites key players to video conference
The first in a series of video conferences initiated by Danish PM Lars Løkke Rasmussen will already take place this week. Australia and Mexico are invited as the first countries. Besides Mr. Rasmussen, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will also take part.
“Many ask whether it will be possible to reach global agreement in Copenhagen. My answer is clear: Yes, it is possible. But if asked whether we are heading for an ambitious agreement, the answer is less clear,” Lars Løkke Rasmussen comments in Danish daily Politiken.
